What's the largest free hosting request you've had?

I just had a live conversation with someone asking for hosting with 30 gbs of disk space and 400 gbs of transfer. I continue talking with the person, asking specific details of what he/she needs so I can give an accurate quote and he/she comes out and says they need it free. I told them that this kind of package is going to run around 100 usd per month and they never replied... lol

LOL! Some people want the world! I think I have had customers request for servers at rediculous prices, say $30 but never anything as funny as what happened to you!

I've also had people asking for ridiculous resources including servers, space & BW, software and design but nothing as big as what Nullified has mentioned.

I'm also convinced that someone will break it though...

Yea I had someone ask for a free subdomain to my ponography domain.
I said no because I didnt want a bad reputation.

what kind of content could possibly give a pornographic site a bad reputation? cuddly little kittens?

i have seen a lot of "free hosting sites" around the net but none even close to that nullified, i have seen some where you get 2 or 3 gig free with like 50 gig transfer free for a year no contract required, but that was a few years back. sure i signed up for an acct and then figured out why it was free... pretty slow and horribly maintained.

I haven't really had a "largest free hosting request" since i only offer 100MB space and 5GB of bandwidth for free

Same here, except I give 10gbs bandwidth (my standard package for free). I don't usually advertise this and only give it to qualifying sites upon request. I usually get one free hosting request each week.

Our most expensive reseller account. Even had someone asking for a free dedicated server. It just never ends...

We do host a few sponsored websites, but only few picked ones.
