Which host has the biggest forum?

Exactly, a well built community will attract almost anyone. I think it also will eventually benefit the host in the fact that there are others there who will answer questions that the host might otherwise answer for the user. HTTPme is a perfect example of a company built around this through process and I must say it is a sucess.

It is also very hard to maintain an active forum though, the forum on my site was bigger but I deleted a number of forums and I think its giving a bad impression at a lot of times because some people post very stupid things but I dont delete because they wouldnt be happy with me telling my customers their posts are all stupid

They are just posts that are very immature and dont reflect well on a business, Im sure anyone that runs a hosting biz will understand what I mean, its just not the image you want to convey.

HTTPme is a great success and Bob did VERY well with that.

Wonder what the business model of his next hosting company will be though

I'm curious myself on that note. I'm sure Bob will come up with something and I'm sure we've not seen the last of him in the industry or in charge of a company.

I agree that they do take extra work, and you do have to watch over them to prevent abuse, but I believe at least in the long run, you'll reap the benefits on down the road.
