Which web host has the largest company forums?
My company forums is very small, somewhere around 2000 posts.
I have seen company forums with hundreds of thousands of posts but they are normally companies like Ev1 and others that own their own Datacentres

What about hosts that offer shared and reseller hosting mainly?

How about total choice, theirs is pretty large as well. I used them about a month once, did enjoy the forum then so I am sure it is even larger now. Freckled

EV1 I believe has the biggest, that forum is very helpful to us newbies at admining servers. It really brings the "managed" to the "unmanaged" server company.

Thanks Rox off for posting the link for everyone, couldn't get much time on the forums until today.
I just thought when I used total choice they were very limiting in what they allowed their customers to do or access. They may have changed, I just wasn't thrilled there. EV1 is a great forum for a quick fix, I did find some solutions there. Of course WHT is huge, I enjoy readig what people hate or like in a web host, as well as the tips for catching spammers and frauders. Server Matrix Forums are good and since my servers are there I scan through that one daily. Freckled

http://forums.hostrocket.com/ has just about 50,000 posts.

I would have to agree that EV1's with over 248,000 is probably the largest. SM also has a fairly large forum with almost 30,000 posts and it's a bit newer.

Yeah I think the SM forum is a lot newer and its growing very quickly.
The EV1 forums are the largest host forums, they have a lot of people posting there that arent customers also.

Its a great place for help for server owners, sometimes even more useful than support at your own DC if your not with them

I concur. When I need to look something up for cPanel, I'll often head to the EV1 forums before I stop by the actual cPanel forums. EV1's forums are truly helpful to anyone and that's exactly what drives that forum. I'm sure it has generated its share of sales in the past and not only is it helpful, but makes for a good marketing tool as well.

If a host has a large helpful forum I think its a great marketing tool.
Not only do people tell others about it, the posts also show up on search engines and gives the hosts a huge amount of visitors
