Hey all

Do your hosting companies sell more of one plan in particular if yes please post your specs here.

I seem to get a lot of 100mb with 700GB bandwidth accounts which are quite good as they are so small.

I use to sell a lot of small personal accounts to friends and people at my university to use for online portfolio space.

50MB space, 500MB Transfer, 5 email accounts, CGI/PHP/MYSQL for $19.95 a year

It depends on which hosting service, as I offer more than one type depending on the amount of support that is offered.

On the None-Managed hosting, it'd be the smallest package which is 20gb bandwidth + 2,000mb space for $10.00 per month. With 20gb bandwidth + 2,000mb space for $11.95 per month on the Bare-Managed hosting.

I usually target those who are very knowledgeable, and therefore do not require support.

I usually get the smaller accounts also my Cybertown Plan is popular (50 megs space 2 gigs bandwidth for 2/m) and my Eclipse-1 Package too(50 megs space 5 gigs bandwidth) $5

These are the most popular.

My most popular are actually the larger accounts, for both shared and reseller customers.
Don't sell too many of the smaller accounts, might be because I target a more "mature" market that knows what they need and most likely already have a website, meaning they require more space and bandwidth than someone just starting out.

I also have a lot of people that upgraded to the bigger plans that started on the smaller so that would be a factor.

I offer multiple plans for both Shared and Reseller customers. My smallest Shared plan is 100MB of space and 1GB of bandwidth for $3.50 a month. But, the most populate Shared plan is 250MB space and 2GB bandwidth for $6.50 a month.

My most populate Reseller plan is 3GB space and 30GB bandwidth for $12 a month. I have quite a few resellers who have upgraded to a larger plan, or some actually have multiple accounts (for different hosting businesses).
