Which scripts do you use on your site for webmail?
E.g. horde, squirrelmail, hivemail, neosomething...

Not sure what the neo* one is.
The only one I use really is Horde but I use outlook a lot more with pop3

Squirrelmail I use, I don't use outlook - it's much better. And easier to keep track of e-mails

We use Horde on our cluster. I would love to be able to use webmail exclusively - mail can take up alot of space..

Anyone else put limits on customers mail box sizes (web mail of course)?

No I don't put limits on it.
The space in email accounts would go towards the overall allowance of the account anyway.
I think it is better to let people use the space for whatever they want, be it 99% email storage or 99% file storage for their site.

Fair enough, and we thought about this - problem is - if you take this approach with email - do you also take this approach with MySQL?

Theres a serious problem if someone has a 500 MB SQL DB running with loads of simultaneous users..

Maybe the solution is to enable Summary Disk Usage with email, but not with MySQL. Hsphere really doesnt work this way yet - all or nothing type of thing - but, apparently this is coming in the next hsphere release - and gives me something to think about..

Thanks John

That would be related to resource limits instead of space.
You could have a db that is 1gb that doesn't use a lot of resources if it isn't accessed often, but you could have a db that is 100mb that uses a lot of resources being accessed constantly.

When I use WebMail (not too often) I preffer to use Horde.

Personally, I think it is the best one there is. But that is just my opinion, and Squiremail is good too.

We currently offer horde and SqWebmail.

However there is a new one we saw called "overlook" that is a squirrel mail add-on that looks nice. Makes it work like outlook express. Thinking about offering that too.

This thread ask you what you are using not to advertise what you offer.

Francisco,

If you consider that advertising, you need help.
