I definitely saw a broad range of terms for the free domains, although a few were refreshingly above board sounding. The problem is, if I do register somewhere else and get hosting that includes a free domain, I would feel silly not taking advantage of it. Kind of like paying for a three course meal and throwing out the steak.

I'm still rather undecided as to what host to try out first, but I figured you guys might have an answer for the free domains offered that wouldn't make my head spin as much as comparing small print.

It would seem silly not to take advantage of a free domain, however, maybe it should be an additional domain and not your business primary domain.
