The only problem on it you are unable to taste the web hosting account beforehand....

People prefer paying less. I've seen hosting for less than $1/mo, which is ridiculous. I believe a fair price for hosting a regular website should be around 10 bucks a month.
(avoiding the unlimited offers)

$4.95 seems to be a good price for a competitive shared hosting plan at this moment.

Are you asking the price for 1 domain? 10 Domains? Unlimited Domains? What features?

I agree with Bob. Whatever may be the plans and offers, if the requirements get satisfied with the plan, then the lowest budget of the reliable host is the best choice.

I don't agree with caesar1.As long as you find the hosting that satisfy your requirements I think it is ok.and the lowest is the best.

This isn't a good question at all, Its personal information I would say, But who cares HD is all family to me lol, I might be sound like a little crazy now... As far as what type of site it is, if its a site for gaming and I want to host it it depends on what services I want. For my tipical gaming site the most ill spend on hosting on it is about $20.00 a month on hosting.

The hosting platform also plays a very important role. For example, if you choose Windows hosting packages, you will find that they are a little expensive in comparison to Linux hosting packages as Windows requires licensing fee and Linux is a free operating system.

The disk space, bandwidth and features you need also make a lot of difference.

Hence, your requirements will specify the amount of money you will have to pay for the hosting package

It would be priceless to pay for a service that has'nt provide you a good return..It is best to spend for the best service than to spoil everything.Invest carefully and everything will follow.

It is correct that for good service you need to pay more. But there must be a boundary for that. Question is in broad sense & hosting price varies as per plan.

This boils down to what best fits your requirements (what you need the hosting for) - is it ecommerce, gaming, informational, forum, personal blog - what?

Along with this, the time for which you are running your website also makes a lot of difference.

For example, if you are starting an E-commerce website, there won't be a lot of traffic on it in the initial stages, however, as you start optimizing your website, the traffic will increase.

Hence, you can start off with a basic hosting package and then upgrade when your requirements increase in future.
