How do you know if the support is great? Do you work for the company?

Yes you will want to avoid free hosting sites. Reason being, free hosting sites sometimes attract illegal spam, poker sites which end up getting blocked by many providers. Most pay for host companies, work hard to prevent any sort of sites on their servers.

Besides all the negative issues that we saw on free web hosting plans, you will also lack of control over your hosting accounts, maybe come with very low disk space, bandwidth, no database and clients supports.
Free hosting plan are suitable for you to test out your web applications / host your very basic website.
It is better you go for a paid web hosting providers because every penny you spend will receive good features and support from them as well.

Your site should be fine as far as search engines are concerned however for a professional business web site I would recommend paid hosting right away. Free hosting is good for personal or hobby websites or an interim arrangement until you upgrade to paid hosting.

Always go with paid hosting. Here you get reliable & stable server. In free hosting there is no guarantee & support.
