Are you paying GoDaddy to host your site? Domain name registration fees have nothing to do with your actual website.

Yeah it looks like you are using their free hosting. Domain registration and hosting fees are separate. Purchasing web hosting will solve this issue.

As others have said purchasing web hosting will solve the problem. Domain registration with them includes very basic hosting which is what you are using.

It 's so simple. You can build it using template to costumize it.

If you are paid for the webhosting to them then the adds should not be their. Purchasing the webhosting from them will solve your problem.

Godaddy offers free hosting when you purchase a domain name, but the problem is they are not very clear about showing ads in the header of your website in order to use that free hosting.

As with most people, they don't read the fine print before using the "free hosting" and can't understand why their site is showing the ads in the header.

Honestly, Godaddy should be a little more descriptive regarding the differences between their paid hosting and the free hosting you receive with the purchase of your domain. It's not the first time I've seen someone think the cost of purchasing the domain name also included the hosting.

You need to switch to a paid hosting plan with either GoDaddy or another provider in order to remove the ads

Just go find a web hosting provider and point the name servers to your new hosting account. If you do not have a budget, you might find a free web host, although it is a risk.

Your either on Godaddy's free hosting or most likely you haven't updated your DNS and your domain is still sitting on the their name parking.

It seems you had purchased only domain name from godaddy by paying $10. You can design your website, purchase web hosting and point your DNS to get this sorted.

If i were you i would go elsewhere for hosting because even if you pay for godaddy hosting you will be disappointed ( slow speed etc). I use hosting from hostgator and its cheap, reliable, no ads, and great support.

Hope that helps.

Sounds like you just registered the domain name, hosting fees would be a monthly charge ranging from $ 1.99 on up depending on space, bandwdith, and OS you are looking for
