.mp3 and .flv files are not playing on the website. i have added these file extensions in IIS, website properties, mime types. also allow these extensions in firewall, but still no success. need some good suggetions.

How are you trying to run those files and what error you receive? Is the softwares required to run the files are installed on the server?

Thank you for replying. my problem is solved, i think that issue was with the firewall. i have addes these extensions and now when i click on those files, they automatically start playing in internet explorer.

There is nice open source based players that you can place online on your web site, This can be even nicer for your visitors. Have your tried those?

Just ask your hosting provider. This is control panel problem

i got a host on cpanel and lxadmin mp3 play fine so not sure if it depends on panel or settings
