Wow! I figured Facebook had quite a few servers, but not that many!

Any idea how old that report is? Last I remember the other year The Planet had stated to have over 50,000 servers. I believe this was discussed at a round-table discussion meeting in 2008. I can't find any documentation on the web regarding the 50k number, but if I remember right, the 50k number was thrown around quite a bit.

funny image but it is true.... cause of the amount of free space which Google is giving out to everyone who has a Google account.

facebook is a lot less than i thought...... considering facebook has.....what 10 billion members and it is going to be the search rival of google.

anyone has an idea of how much space is being added to our google gmail accounts every minute now. It has slowed down but it's thankfully still increasing.

I'm not really sure when this came out exactly. I do believe the report/image was from http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/, though.

Google has tons and tons of servers, Think about it. People from all around the world know about Google and no matter what I think once in a lifetime no matter what you find or hear about Google, What I mean about this is, You could never be born and from that year 1 age to age 100 or even higher you will hear about Google and visit there site.

WOW that is allot of servers. I don't imagine that anyone will overtake Google as they are getting into so many different markets.

Iweb's reports are probably old since they now have more than 65k servers just in Canada as far as I know.
