I create a new mail account in cpanel with my own domain,next I come to set up the foxmail client in order to send and receive email . However,after setting up foxmail with correct steps and information, it still bring me failure when I try to email to one of my mailbox. It always prompt that Authentication Failed,please re-enter the password.
I am so confused with this situation. Could anybody tell me whether there is any special attention should be paid during the course of settings?

Does it only happen with this email client?
Are you able to receive emails?

Some ISPs require that you use their servers for outgoing mail.

ie: Incoming mail server (POP) mail.yourserver.com

Outgoing mail server (SMTP) smtp.yourisp.com

Verify if your isp allow you to connect port 25

You can do this by run step as below :

Just type the following command in the command prompt window and press "Enter":

telnet my-domain-name.com 25

Issue has been settled,I have tried several times then it come to work finally.Thank you all the same.
