Interesting this the first time I have heard of LiveZilla potentially killing their services. SAD really. It is a good product just needs some new owners from what you say. One that can keep it going.

I can't say I'm surprised where it was free for so long.

well if Livezilla want to charge they have to be serious about it and put a prices that is in par with other paid chats, but to go from 0 to 1000 euros it is just going to kill them

I don't think so because they knew they have a big client base and have potential client to buy their products..

Sightmax is the software from my previous hosting. you can also consider liveperson.

even large clients wont pay fees like that when the average for such features is 300 USD with other paid chat software.


i know 2 large companies that have used livezilla for many years that are not going to upgrade to version 4 and pay these fees.

You're absolutely right, Terry. I don't see us paying that price either.

i dont see any company in their right minds paying 1000 euros (1500 USD) when you can get others just as good for 300 USDS

I was only recently looking over their prices. That price change is only recently.

Personally, the one positive thing is, once you pay it, its not a subscription.

Another thing to note, because of the software limitations the price goes back up to 999euro because of the custom options.

We use zopim livechat, works well because you can control it through the use of MSN AIM GTalk etc

WHMCS is now offering a deal on the live chat software and it is supposed to integrate very well with the rest of the WHMCS software.
