Is anyone using QuickBooks in addition to whmcs or another product for client management? I own another company that I use QuickBooks for and I have two licensed copies. One of which will not be used soon for that business since I purchased a new copy of Pro and so I thought it might be good to add webhosting clients to it to better keep track of things. Is this over kill? Is it more trouble than what it's worth?

It seems like it's double the work. Honestly I use quickbooks exclusively for printing refund checks to clients that don't accept/use PayPal, other than that, everyone stays in the billing system.

I think you might be right on the overkill part, however, if you are used to Quickbooks and it does the job for you then use it. If you feel like its a burden to use, then find a better way to do it. Good Luck

I use WHMCS with Kashflow integration module.

Edit: and give Orbit Account access to accountant.

As for me I have used only WHMCS, it's good indeed.

It seems to me WHMCS is quite enough.
