you could say the same to why do people want free hosting, simple because they either dont want to spend money or just will abuse the hosting and then when kicked off they will just move to next free host
if a 30-day MBG is not enough then why do you offer a 30-day MBG then?
Collabora wasn't making a statement. His question merely addresses the original question "Does anybody provide trial VPS?", meaning a 30-day MBG can be essentially considered the same thing as a trial.
We do not provide VPS trials as well for a few reasons - it might load our servers with customers that do not even consider buying the actual service and another reason is that our VPS is really cheap, which makes it affordable even for testing purposes.

I would stay very far away from offering free trial VPS because of abuse. People are going to sign up for free service then wiill abuse your node as bad as they want and you will get a few IP addresses banned and the client will not even signup after trial.
