Ad with discount is always a common trick as most providers do.And it should be took consideration for how to set the price.

Good adverts in my opinion are clean, informative and have all the needed information the reader needs to decide whether to use you. If you miss out on the information you will loose a client to be.

I believe that an effective ad is the one where you clearly state all necessary information about your packages and offer a discount. Also, it's good to provide and mention that the support is available 24/7 and that the response time is immediate. This is very important for potential clients to know. I think the prices aren't crucial, but reliability is.

If you legitimately supply this then it sure great to let people know. Otherwise if your not offering legitimate 24/7 support then you should only promote the support around the times your company can deliver the support. Even saying things like "support will be supplied within as timely manner as possible" will do you much more well than false advertising. Just because much of the competition does it, doesn't mean you need to hop on the "band wagon". Finally regarding potential customers "needs to know this", as long they know your approximate availability and what they are getting it sufficient. After all some customers will be willing to comprise "quick responses" for more appropriate replies than "we are looking into this" and waiting for hours that comes with most "24/7 support" places.

any host can say they provide 24/7 support and if they have a FAQ or Knowledge base and a support ticket system then they are providing 24/7 support. The difference is if they say they provide 24/7 live support ( which means they have someone available 24/7 to answer live chat or support tickets)

The ad should be easy to read without overwhelming descriptions. Attractive pricing. But most importantly is the support and service rendered after a customer signs up.
