This will be a question to ask your hosting provider. In most cases you should have an invoice which will enable you to select your preferred payment method, for example, PayPal.

You can then click PayPal and submit the payment.

Alternatives would depend on who you host with (PayPal, credit/debit card, money order / WU -- different hosts, different methods).

If in doubt, it is best to ask your provider. The process should be the same as when you first ordered hosting (minus the initial checkout process).

Normally your hosting provider would have sent you an email before your renewal date. So make sure you check your junk folders.

Also if you have changed your email address recently - ensure you check your old address and let the provider know your new address.

Agree with others / contact your current web host. They should be sending you an invoice to renew / in which will auto renew or you just pay it each time.

Kind Regards,

Dave

You will need to get in touch with your hosting provider for it. Hosting provider used to send hosting renewal notices before it's expiration date.

You will need to ask them for the payment methods which they accepts. So it's better to contact them directly.

People above provided you the right way to do it. You should contact your hosting provider for helping more information about "how to renew your host". They are willing to help you and give you the precision instruction to do it.

Ordinary, you have to pay money for your package plan of that hosting provider. Then they check your paid money is ok, they will renew your host.

Hosting accounts are automatically renewed once you are a client with them. They provide invoices every month.

Not entirely true. In most cases they are automatically invoiced each month but this doesn't mean they are renewed unless a subscription or billing agreement of some kind has been set up.

it should be hard to renew as it depends on the payment option you have set up with your current hosting.

It depends upon the subscription whether monthly ,quarterly or half year or yearly. Your service provider will give you prior intimidation about expiry/renewal notification vai mail or call reminders.

For my personal VPS, I have automatic payments set up, but still get two reminders anyway. Providers don't always automate payments though. Make sure what you're signing onto when you contract with a host. If you're using a PayPal subscription and decide to cancel your services with a provider, cancel your PayPal subscription as well.

I agree as some hosts wont refund any payments in error as this is not a error on the hosts side.

A few years back we would do this. we had 1 client who cancelled a 200 hosting plan. 3 weeks later 200 ended in our PP account ( he never cancelled is subscription), but rather than contact us about this he opened a PP dispute, which initially PP took the money from our account. we then gave PP a copy of our TOS which stated it is upto a client to cancel a subscription if they leave us, we also gave PP a copy of the automated cancellation confirmation email which stated that any subscriptions with PP etc. need to also be cancelled as we will not refund any paid in error. PP then gave us the money, but from their own funds, so in essence PP paid us the 200 while the ex client would have also got their 200 back, so how does this teach people to follow the correct processes.
If the client had contacted us then i would have happily refunded them, but why should i when they went direct to PP which affects our account with PP for something of their doing.
