asiahost.com!!!
WHERE IN THE WORLD DID THAT COME?
My servers are hosted by InterServer, Inc. and in NO was is it in affiliation with asiahost.com! I guarentee you!

Also, my website is on its own IP, thats the old DNS from my old server when I was transferring accounts. You can check back later and see it on my sites lonesome IP. All of my old clients got a dedicated IP when I moved the sites. They are scrambled, dont try to find them. Some start like 66. and some start 69. and some start in 73.

As you will see when you look at http://www.whois.sc/american-hoster.com
It says the server IP starts with a 72.
OK, now, Since your smart, or seem to be, ping american-hoster.com

You get its new IP, 66.45.232.110!! That right there will tell you the records at http://www.whois.sc/american-hoster.com are old... Am I right or what?

Thank you... I rest my case... Just goes to show everyone how ingnorant some people are... (Or seam when they overlook simple things)...

How come your mom needed to loan from you and not the other way around? :p

It's cool to see that some kids are able to do things properly and I wish you the best of luck in the future.

I think that greed has played an important role in the demise of the hosting industry.

But, I have no sympathy for those that choose a new company because they promise great things and you end up getting conned or ripped off in the end. It's your responsibility to make the right choice. That's where education comes into it. If you're stupid enough to risk investing your money into a company/website/service/person you know nothing about, then tough, you should have been more careful. You learn from your mistakes.

Very well phrased, Keith. I agree with you. However, it is often hard for those never had to deal with this kind of market to make their picks. But who is to say they can't ask for advice from someone who knows?

Best,

Correct, some hosting companies that charge high also design their users website. Not All, but Some.

Also, to your question about my mom barrowing money from me...

I save my money. She works at the Waffle House (You may have heard of them, I am not sure, depends on where you live) and dont make that much. I on the other hand sell CDs at school for $10 each and DVDs for $12 (which I can get 3 days before they come out in theater... ) And I save my earnings. Usually to buy computer hard ware, like my ATI Radeon X900 which I saved my money and baught that way... Was over $400...

And I thank you for your wishes for my successful future; I hope the same for you...

Yes, I know its illegal. But the chances of me getting caught, as none of you know where I live are very, very slim...

Several studies show that I have a higher chance of getting struck by lightening twice on the same night...

Personally, I am shocked that you charged your own mother interest. I would give thousands to my mother. I only expect to be paid back. I don't ask for interest.

In terms of selling CD's and DVD's at school......I just don't get it. How can you possibly LEGALLY get these?

You may need to take a look into your morals before you can move on with your business. Just my opinion.

Never was "legel" and I dont do it anymore because people in my area are starting to buy these cheap PC's with burners but yeah, it was good for a while... But I stopped doing that when I got this started. I offer extended support, which is hard sometimes...

Not something to live by - or count on.

Lanett, Alabama

I'm fairly certain that if your school administers knew about it and contacted the local police, you'd face some heavy fines.

Well, now, I am homeschooled. But as I said, I dont do it anymore. I do keep Smallville episodes on my server in a password protected folder, so sue me. I put it there so I can watch them later without using my own system space which slows seek times...

whoa, one sec....

I just read in another thread where you called any host that was more expensive, idiots, and greedy, and here you are charging your own mother interest on a $50 loan, after just telling us that she doesn't make very much money. You'll have to excuse me if I find that extremely hypocritical and just sick.

Then you take someone's hard work, and living, pirate it and sell it, and then talk about how great it was.

It just dawned on me, that I completely figured you out.

You're immature, have no real experience of what it's like to actually work for a living, and take other people's hard work for granted, as though it means nothing. This of course stems back to never having to bust your a*s to put food on the table.

I hope everyone is paying attention, because this is the generation that will be our presidents when we're old enough to need social security and medicare. For thosethat are not familiar with those two things....that is what you work for all of your working life, only to get it ripped out from under you by crook polititians, who most likely make a few extra bucks hosting, and selling pirated CD's to their joint chiefs for $10 a pop.

Sorry guys and gals just came home from the office.

1) First of all you state that you have a QUAD Xeon Server? I see now such deal on Quad Xeon's at interserver so hence lie #1.
2) I do not see anything in regards to Katrina funding on your site. Please provide evidence.
3) http://www.whois.sc/66.45.232.110 No websites hosting using this IP address. Reverse DNS: asiahost.net ?
4) I mean as far as how many clients you have...I can't even get any information on you from even ipwalk.com and only 12 when I do a Reverse DNS.
5) You come in here gloating and acting very arrogant like a 13 year old would. I think many of us have seen kids pull these tricks at many other forums and you are no exception. I smell another company turning to ashes in a month .
6) Scrambled IPs and only two machines. You seriously believe I'm a stupid little child who will believe that crap? IPs usually are sold in blocks and Datacenters usually contain a few class A IP addresses and the servers are placed within a single subnet if or even if the host does not provides VLAN (which most due). It's quite simple conf t-->interface fastethernet 0/1-->switchport access vlan x...

So please prove to me that you are not lying in some way shape or forum because all of the evidence I'm getting here raises red flags to all of your claims.

EDIT: I guess with the above comments I don't need to prove myself anymore.

And here I was thinking that we had a mature, responsible kid doing well in the hosting industry. I guess I should have been more skeptical.

I'm sure he's heard a lot worse from others, customers, etc.

He charged his mother interest on a personal loan for god sake. The woman that raised, fed, and took care of him. If anything she should charge him, plus interest for all the years she had to buy him crap, feed him, cloth him, etc.

I'm sorry but it makes me sick to think a child could do something like that, have absolutely no morals whatsoever, nor any type of work ethic, and then thinks it's just so damn funny, not to have any type of ethical personal backbone.

This same kid who thinks piracy is so great, would be the first to try and file suit, should someone steal something from him, or if his site wasn't a template, stole images from that.
