Hey,
Im looking for a very low end dedicated server.
It has to be above 500mhz and the price must include a control panel, cPanel or direct admin prefered.
Looking for space above 4GB and bandwidth over 50GB.
Have seen a number of these offered but want to find out what is available now as I need one.
Thanks,
John

I havent seen to many of these around lately. Most of those machines have been purchased just because they are cheap as all hell and they are great beginner machines.

Try Managed.com
Celeron 2ghz, 512mb memory, 80gb hard drive, 1000GB Transfer, 10 IPs, cPanel/WHM $55 per month for the first month then $75 there after.

Not a bad deal.

Thanks Jonathan.
It wont be used as a full server really, will only be needed to do very low demanding processes which is why Im looking for something so small.

That deal from managed.com seems great so will check that out, thanks

Hi John,

I can provide you with the Following:

AMD Athlon XP 1700+
256Mb PC-133
100GB Bandwith per Month
10/100Mbps Port (that means 100Mbps Burstable )
WebHost Manager ==> Cpanel
$0 Setup -- $65/Month

The server is Online now, I just have to wait 5 or so, so the Client can move to a Reseller Account.

I also have:

Intel Celeron 2Ghz
256Mb PC2700 DDR 333Mhz
10/100Mbps Port (Burstable to 100Mbps)
WebHost Manager ==> Cpanel

With 100Gb of Bandwith: $72
With 1000Gbs of Bandwith: $90

Well, maybe a Good Choice will be the AMD heh...

This is a Multi-Homed Network, isn't like Managed.com that's Only AboveNet

*Edit Note: forgot to add the AMD comes with 40Gb IDE and the Celeron with 80Gb IDE

Cheers!

Hey,
Thanks for the warning klooki.
Will look into them Max thanks

Francisco, is the AMD 40GB HD with 100GB Bandwidth?
If it is, is there any way to have a smaller hard disk?
Thanks,
John

You can get a nocster for around $70 p/m, but I hear they are having tax problems with the IRS so beware.

Would you consider a Virtual Private Server? root access comes with these bad boys.
