lcrhosting, are you looking for sponsored hosting?

I ask you because I moved your thread here in the "Web hosting requests" forum, but we do have a "Sponsored web hosting requests" forum too.

Well, I would doubt you'll get a dedicated server for $10 per month.

Actually, you would just be bordering a quality shared package at that budget.

You may get someone to sponser you though.

Good luck.

lcr, I love Internet radio business, but (dedicated server request aside), you have to expect to pay the Recording Industry Association of America licensing fees. They are quite small for webcasting: 8.8% performance license fee which would come to something like $0.0007 per performance. Check out the RIAA web site for more:
http://www.riaa.com/issues/licensing/webcasting_faq.asp

Now, I can recommend a service like http://www.wavestreaming.com (well developed infrastructure), but unless you make that $10 budget more like $300 and up per month for the whole setup and fees, it would be tough for you to get into this business.

Best,

How much space/bandwith you need? If your live radio is new, I don't suspect it'll need too much bandwith at first.

Hi,

Is your radio going to be big, with lots of listeners?
