Why DirectAdmin is not popular? When a reseller account is 25% cheaper than cPanel; is there any interest to choose this over cPanel? What you suppose?

DirectAdmin is gaining in popularity. cPanel has been an industry standard for years.

cPanel offers a lot more features compared to DirectAdmin. The WHM Panel with all the backend features to the server.

I never used Direct Admin or anything else then LX Admin and cPanel. I personaly love cPanel and think its the best. One of theses days ill look into trying out another Control Panel.

Yeah, cPanel is sort of dominating the market now. Unless DirectAdmin starts stepping up.

The thing I hate about DirectAdmin is that their support is really slow, and that sometimes it takes hours and hours to activate a license. Whereas cPanel is instant.

cPanel can offer you great support cause they have so many staffs around the clock. While Direct Admin have a few.

Dont take me wrong Direct Admin is a great control panel, we used it for a few years and is about to reoffer Direct Admin hosting.

I always go with cPanel. It offers you good support feature. It is easy to use & understand. The cPanel-WHM combination has made life easy for web hosts and site owners. It is a powerful platform.

Think of cpanel like google, its been the standard for a long long time now and its hard to move and shake up those kinds of companies. Direct Admin is a great cpanel, they need to really step it up if they want to be on top

The thing that keeps me going to cPanel definitely isn't the $25.00 - 40.00/month per server. The thing that keeps me with them is, I know they are going to improve every release and I have all my data in ftheir format and to migrate is a pain in the butt.

I have never been a fan of direct admin. I have heard stories from the camp over at Direct Admin that they are taking it easy because they have got enough subscribers to making their money and now they are just banking on it month after month. The beauty of subscription based products.

I always use cPanel. Its features are very powerful.Compared with Direct Admin,Direct Admin doesn't offer many features.It's better with WHM-cPanel combination.

Direct Admin could use a better system to handle there licenses, I enjoy how cPanel lets the customer change the ip address.

But overall Directadmin is not that bad, doesn't almost everything cPanel can do.
