I used to use asp and asp.net, but I found it difficult to keep up with all the syntax changes between versions. Has Microsoft settle on a common syntax yet, or do they still change it frequently?

Me personally I always thought why learn something new and made for windows only use php and good to go so why learn something new

I concentrate more on designing more than coding. The webforms in my site are all designed by friends for a low price. I have just now learnt flash. Now I am designing banners and many things for my site. I think all my friends make the forms for my site in ASP.Net.
