I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I want to know about the BEST photo gallery scripts out there. So far, I have used coppermine the most but for some reason, it doesn't quite do it for me! Let me know if you've come across a great gallery script and what you like/dislike about it.

I have only used coppermine to be honest. It's not too bad, but is ok for quickly throwing up pics.

Have you thought about an online photo gallery service? or do you prefer to run the script on your own hosting account?

I enjoy maintaining my own scrips but I never thought of using a ready-made service. If I were to use one, it'd have to be ad free. I'd be willing to pay for it if it wasn't too expensive. I don't mind ads on a lot of things but it'd really annoy me if they got in the way of my photos.

I'll look around at some hosted services and report back on what I find.
