You may have index.htm and index.html both active at the server. It's a common problem. Delete the one that isn't needed.

Your home page URL has to carry the correct URL.

For example if you start a website: www.mycoolsite.com

Then in FrontPage, right click --> page properties --> (in base location) write the URL of your site: http://www.mycoolsite.com

Click OK.

Save the page as "index.htm", upload and see if it works.

Make sure your domain name points to your hosting nameservers, too.

Make sure you add your domain like Art said, and also make sure you have the domain point to your hosts nameservers.

A common problem is that you can create index. htm as your home page, but FrontPage creates index.html by default. If both extensions exist on the server, you just need to delete the html extension and it'll work fine.
