Post your opinions on the direction which web 2.0 has taken. There are so much security related issues, also on the other side of the coin is filtering of the great search engines for our "safety" and so on....

Web 2.0 is great and I love the looks, security is an issue with every aspect of the internet and always will be, we are also becoming more security concious which is great.

The cross-site scripting in web 2.0 technology seems to be most destructive feature however it is essential that the site owners should adopt best practices in terms of security to keep the pace.

web 2.0 changed things a lot, but trying to secure something is just not possible 100%. every time a new technology comes out, there are hackers sitting there who break it.
