I was just aware that some files I stored in Ziddu were deleted. I remember one point in their terms that they will delete any file which is not downloaded for more than 30 days (or 60 days?). Is there any other file hosting provider which allows you to keep files in the server without such a limitation?
Its better to use private file sharing accounts , or remote backups,
like webbycart , sugarsync , rsync etc which have no such limitations to your file.
I would personally just get some affordable hosting or a lowend VPS to store on, that way you can keep things there for as long as you wish
Agree with you there Paul but also you can store files either on RackspaceCloud or Amazon S3 for pennies a month too.

There may be any some reason behind this delete. There could be a copyright claim or some thing like that.
But that's what you get in free. Can be deleted any time, no reason, no contact.

If you are storing smaller(<200mb) files, you can try mediafire too. They don't have any such restrictions for file deletion.
