A luxury brand is running a webdesign competition until the end of 2005. They ask for a 10 pages website. The prize is a 5000€ watch. Considering the site has to be online, do you think it's worth it? ?
How long does it take you to create a template?

I see no reason why it wouldn't be worth it.
If you think you have a chance of winning then go ahead and enter.
If you don't have a lot of design experience then it is probably a waste of time because these competitions draw the best designers.

Because for this contest Tag Heuer ask for quite a lot of work. I see usually wed design contest are more about one logo or one page... I'm not sure I'm skilled enough to compet with the 'best designers'

Of course they are asking for a lot of work. It's a $5000 contest.

It is 5000 Euro mind you, which is just a bit more in USD.

getting paid 5000 to do something most people like doing is good money.

yeah, 5000 euro...that's probably like 5750 or more in USD...well worth it...
