Has anyone every launched a marketing campaign based of fliers? What words did you include, how did you go about designing it and how effective was the campaign?

Hi
Dont make it boring or plain.

Make it so that when people pick it up they want to read it not feel they have to.

Use a logo but not too big but something which reflects your business.

Hope that helps take care john in the UK

You know we were planning on trying this in the next few weeks here. I suppose the biggest thing is that they grab people's attention. Should be bold and if possible, colorful. I've made it so our shared hosting price outstands the company logo by a bit, and it looks pretty slick.

I was thinking of two styles - little 4-to-a-page 'flyer' style flyers, and some of those neat full-page flyers you post up with the little tassles at the bottom people tear off so they don't actually have to remember anything.

Just a suggestion but try a5 not the 4 to a page there too small and people tend to lose them or just chuck em in the bin.
ive found over the years of printing them for people this is the feedback i have had.

Flyers need to be eye catching, creative and intelligent. They should use very bold and bright colours that go well together, the flyer should immediatly attract the consumers attention and make them think about what they're seeing.

frattay22 your flyer doesn't grab my attention, perhaps consider more appealing colours and larger, bolder "in your face" text.
