I've been working really hard on this forum for the past few days, and have managed to get 73 members in a matter of 3-4 days, which IMO is not bad for a webhosting forum like mine.

I'm not looking into becoming just another webhosting forum, I'm going to be spending some money on some custom vBulletin hacks/plugins to add these features to my forum:

• Integrated Webhosting Directory
• Integrated Webhosting Reviews
• Integrated Tutorials section
• Integrated Articles section
• Integrated Webmaster Tools (Whois, PR lookup, etc.)
• And many many more!

I've received a few quotes from some vB developers, and it's going to cost me around $400, which is really not a bad price.

1 - What do you think about my forums design and layout?

2 - Any comments, suggestions, etc.?

3 - Do you think http://www.hostaddicts.com has potential?

Whelp, what is to stop someone else from using your skin? As far as getting 73 members in a matter of 3 days that sounds great, but how many are going to stay around and post? From the looks of your forum this might just be another site that grows quickly but lacks substance. Anyhow, I would try and go after a custom skin so someone does not recreate what you already have.

I have paid a hell of alot on customizing this skin, and getting it recoded. Basically too much to even consider getting a new design.

What is to stop someone else from using my skin? noone, and frankly enough, I couldn't give two hoots about someone using the same skin for the same purpose. It justs gives me more motivation to work harder.

And yes, I do plan on advertising, but not at TalkWebHosts. Probably WebHostingTalk, or maybe at TheAdminZone.

Why not advertise here? The rates are definitely better then that of webhostingtalk.com, no sense in paying $500 for 10 clicks when you can pay 1/20 of that and get a better CTR.

How much have you spent on the site? Looks like it is turning out well.

I like it the site, and have bookmarked it for future reference.

I personally don't like the template...

I have to agree the template is not really to my liking...
