MaximumASP launches server monitoring tool MaxV

Web hosting and managed IT services provider MaximumASP has launched MaxV Account Center Interface, which allows users to view server information such as system performance metrics and server health.  Users can also scan for viruses and run updates. MaxV VPS was designed to behave like a stand-alone server.

Google’s portable data center containers confirmed

Google has confirmed that it used portable data center containers in its first data center project in 2005. Portable data centers has been gaining in popularity among large tech firms for the past few years. Google did not specify the location of the containers, but industry specialists believe they are probably used in Dalles, Oregon.

New CyrusOne data center

CyrusOne will build a new 50,000 square-foot data center in Austin, Texas. Located in Austin’s data center business park, it will have two substations that will be able to receive power of up to 400 watts from separate sources.

Easyspace shopping cart service adds items to eBay, Google Base

Easyspace, a UK web hosting provider, has launched a range of low-cost shopping cart solutions. The new service can accept Paypal and Worldpay payments.
