Storms causes data center downtime

Severe weather in Northern California is taking its tall on data center performance. NaviSite‘s San Jose facility experienced multiple downtime starting around fifteen minutes before 5 o’clock Pacific Standard Time. An estimated total of 500 customers were affected by 17 outages. The following day at noon, NaviSite posted in its blog that its DC continues to run on generator power and it is still waiting for street power to become available.
