CoreLink Data Centers has added another data center in Tukwila, Washington. The company’s second data center in the area measures 39,000 square feet with 13,000 square feet of raised floor at the moment with up to 25,000 square foot in the future. It can accommodate varying levels of density requirements.
A second data center is being built for Microsoft in Quincy, Washington. Last summer, an announcement was made by the company that its Azure platform would be moved out of its first Quincy data center. The existing data center is powered by hydroelectricity, offering high server utilization and real-time system monitoring.
A 90,000 square foot data center has been opened in Houston, Texas by Telorean, an IT systems firm. It extends the company’s position in terms of providing a resilient infrastructure. The current headquarters of the company is in Seattle, Washington. Hosting, applications, and networking are some of the services of the new $15-million DC.
HostICan has moved into a new facility outside Richmond Virginia. The new facility has power and connectivity that would meet customers’ collocation needs. The company, however, will continue to operate its data center in Washington, DC.
A new 150,000 square foot data center will be constructed in 2011 at Sterling, Washington. It will be the second building at 22570 Shaw Road and will be named Megacenter @ Mid Dulles.
A web hosting company ServInt has opened a data center in Los Angeles. ServInt LA is company’s second data center, with the first one located in Washington, D.C. The new DC will house company’s new and existing customers in western United States and Canada.
