I won't recommend to use any third party file manager for VestaCP, it is highly risky as well as vulnerable. The authorised file manager costs $3 per month or $50 for life time usage.

Have you installed your Vesta CP File Manager using the following instructions?
1) Login to the server via SSH. under root
2) Open file /usr/local/vesta/conf/vesta.conf
at end of the file just enter the following
3) Save the file, and that’s it!
You can now use file manager of vesta control panel for free
