Domain name whats going to happen

Well as everyone and there brother is learning domain hosting and domain registration is very easy what is going to happen to the two main domains .com and .net , its hard enough to find a unique name now think about in 5 years. What domain name ext do you think will become popular in the next few years?
 
I think .us co.uk and local country domains will become more popular. We may start to see domains like .world come into play :)

Abit long, dont you think?

btw, do they have every 2 letter combination for extentions? If not, do you thek they ever will?
