I've been away for awhile brainstorming and figured some things out. I've tapped into some incredible affiliate programs, even found the best one in the entire world. Well, coupled with a web hosting business being that people need website hosting to promote their affiliate programs it can be a dynamic combination.
This is a nitch marketing effort also. Here's how it works, since you are expert in internet, at least I hope you are
You can help others to market their product(s) online. Since I started this less than two months ago I've gained 182 people. Would that be worth your time to gain that many? It is mine.
Basically if you are good at coaching people and teaching them how to market online you can gather quite a number of people to host websites with you. It's an affiliate program you build and honestly, I know of others that gather literally hundreds of people using this system. The nice thing about it is it doesn't cost anything to get in. So you don't have anything to sell, you give it away, literally. Makes it much easier to get people's interest.
You build a client base with this, and in the process you do earn money but now you have hundreds of people that you can sell web hosting to. It's a corner of the market I never thought of before, but it works. And mostly because you are providing a way for people to work at home and there are tons of people out there who are looking for that.
Once I tapped into this I had to figure out a way to expand it even more, so I simply put links on my websites so people looking for computer work can find it. If you have a link directory it works really well. I know that the ones I have draw masses of people, and even the one I have that reaches a small nitch experiences over 150,000 hits each month.
So here's one method, there are countless others. Let's say you tap into this and get into the system, now you teach others how to promote this through their own website, first of all they are going to host with you. Secondly because you are in the affiliate program and they are with you also, you earn money from everything they promote on their website, which they host with you. Are you getting the picture? It's a win, win situation. I teach my people how to set up their own link directory and work it and how to add the right links to it.
So now, the people I am teaching are getting more people and teaching them the same thing. Guess who they are going to get their web hosting from? You guess it, me!
It's cheaper than advertising to the masses, it takes a bit more time, but I'll tell you honestly, it has the potential from this income stream alone to produce a 6 figure income in 3 or 4 years depending on what you do with it.
I do build other income streams by the way and I host some free blogs and I put my google ads on them. It sends me a check from Google now and then which helps pay the electric bill.
Web hosting isn't all that hard when you get a little creative.
I put a link to it in WMS for my cPanel clients to join my affiliate program. The system can help them pay for their own webhosting. It's encouraging to clients if they can make their website pay for itself.
