Probably the wrong forum ... maybe even the wrong group to be asking this of ... but figured it couldn't hurt to try 
I have been trying for a few years to put online a site or subdomain of one of my sites ... a databased driven "service" so people can come to the site ... check off which diets they are told they must be on and a printable page would be displayed with all the foods they are allowed to eat that would meet the criteria in all the chosen special diets.
I just need the input & output pages and the blank database ... I would take care of inputting all the info (of course). And I have a fairly good idea how I would need things to work on the site.
This "idea" came out of my own need for a similar service. I was put on 4 different "special diets" a number of years back ... but right now I am not following any of them because trying to combine what I can and cannot eat has been too confusing to me and I just cannot figure it out on my own. I could have a dietician do it for me but they charge $1200 around here for that ... and I just don't have that kind of $$ I can spare. One food is allowed on 1 or 2 of the diets but is a no-no on 1 or 2 of the others. I just figured it would make things a whole lot easier if there was a site where people could go and just click off a few diets and have a list of OK foods ... and maybe a list of foods that are banned and indicate which diet(s) cause them to be banned.
I have tried learning MySQL & PHP on my own ... but part of what disables me is cognitive & memory dysfunctions and after about 4 years of trying to learn it I am still at square one. What I knew before I became disabled ... I still know. But learning new things is almost impossible ... or at best extremely limited.
To be honest ... I did make contact with someone a couple years ago that initially offered to help but when I described to him what I needed he said it was basically "too simple" for him to spend time doing, that I just had to this that and the other thing ... and there it is done. Unfortunately, he could not comprehend that what might be simple for him was virtually impossible for me.
So ... anyone in this group think they might be able to help me? Or suggest where I might look to find a person or persons that might?
