Connecting Host - Hosting Conference in Los Angeles

Well, we have been in the process of planning a hosting conference in Los Angeles, California and we also considered having it in Las Vegas. Soo, here are some questions for you guys!

What would you like to see at the conference?

Who would you like the keynote speakers to be?

Would you attend the conference?

What companies would you like to see there?


So basically just answer these questions and let us know your thoughts on Connecting Host 2006!

In my mind, GoDaddy and Hostorcket are two of the Indutries leaders. If you could get one or even both there that would be awesome! Good luck!

I'm sure we could get someone from HostRocket. GoDaddy may be possible. What about Robert Marsh from EV1 Servers? Maybe?

Robert Marsh would be an easy pick.
Christopher, if you can gather CEOs/management from world's all largest web hosting companies found at www.webhosting.info, that would be one of the best events in the industry.

I would like to see a lot of HostingDiscussion.com members out there, including our staff members, as well as our partner: a good hosting provider www.micfo.com

I would be interested in attenting the conference if the cost is reasonable. I'm pretty sure we can also become one of the media sponsors of the event as well. That's apart from us trying to organize a web hosting industry party next summer possibly in Kingston, Ontario.

Well you can't just leave me hanging with "probably next summer" , I need dates so I can get flights and hotels taken care of

That'll be given at a later time.

The team at Newport Technologies is definitely excited about working on Connecting Host and having a successful conference in the year of 2006.. Maybe we should create a separate forum on here for Connecting Host to talk about it and everything Connecting Host can go there? After this event goes successful and well we would also definitely be willing to work with him on organizing the one in Kingston.

Please feel free to invite Micfo to join us in discussion or they can e-mail me personally. We will also be looking for guest speakers, and sponsors. We would love to have Hosting Discussion as one of the biggest media sponsors. We're also in discussion with another large hosting site.

We're working on getting the cost as affordable as possible and probably around the range of $150 - $200 a person..

We would also like to talk with the CEO and owner of HostRocket.com and talk with them about speaking.
