Check into "affiliate seo" ranking. There's a ton of guides on it, but that will give you an idea of what the competition is doing to gain their rankings. Then, you can use portions or create your own to go against it.
But again, MOST eCommerce listings for Amazon and other eCommerce sites are not SEO Optimized, so with a few tweaks, some content and a couple of links, you can generally beat them (depending on niche).
