There are several alternatives as mentioned, i have personally tested VM Manger, SolusVM & Virtualizor, in my opinion Virtualizor is the best by far, great product, great support, great price.

SolusVM is always best. If you would like to use another then go with Virtualizor.

I have tested ISP Systems VM Manager, SolusVM & Virtualizor.

VM Manager i found far to basic and not very configurable, it also lacked the ability to set bandwidth limits other than port speed. SolusVM i found unreliable and the database became corrupted for no apparent reason plus there support is bad and they are VERY slow to release any updates. Virtualizor i found to be fantastic, highly configurable, great support and very stable.

Proxmox is very nice and open source.
SolumVM is also a great choice.
Virtuozzo is excellent as well.

Wouldn't recommend virtualizor...

Not as of today they don't.
Solus is now owned by Plesk. As much as I detest OnApp, I have to say that OnApp was a more appropriate solution for Solus.

Predictions:

#1: Plesk is just going to let SolusVM die. Ever heard of modernbill? Look it up. They did the same thing there in favor of their own billing system

#2: If you do ever see version 2.0, it will be so bug ridden it's not even funny. that's how Parallels likes to distribute stuff, crap.

If you haven't found a replacement, then do so quickly. Plesk is NOT a good move for this software.
