If you need reliable companies, I can you name some the most reliable from my point of view: HostGator.com, GlowHost.com, Lypha.com and *************.
Would you continue this list, guys?

A "list" can go on for tens of thousands of entries.

I suggest to either use hosting directories or search engine directories to go through more or less established service providers:

I think netcraft might have the database of hosting companies worldwide.

Well, there have been too many hosts nowadays that you cannot list them enough here

You have to search them in google and hosting reviews. Anyway, if you are in the process of searching a host for your site, can you specify your budget, needed storage and traffic, softwares or applications or programs, etc? Any that you require for your hosting needs

Sure I will. I can add several reliable, stable and reputable companies to this list. They are ***********, **************** and Mts.easycgi.com. You will find out the availability of their systems administrators and send them a support ticket and see how fast they respond.

I don't think there will be a database/list of host around. Every day a new "host" comes and goes.
Your best bet is to search over at hosting review sites like WebHostingStuff and HostJury.

To the above-mentioned companies I can add hostgator.com and simplehelix.com for their top-notch services and affordable rates.

If you are looking for quality web hosting, I suggest you to test **********.com, Hostupon.com and Lunarpages.com. They all have intellectually gifted support staff, moreover, they have qualitative hosting possibilities.
