This what I'm not sure about. If he is from a different country that yours, you may not be able to file a lwsuit against him so easily as his living country may not have any helpful law about this case.

We've experienced a few people like this. On the topic of refunds some people who simply don't need their hosting service anymore open a dispute on PayPal and state they didn't authorize the purchase which puts the seller in a bad position.

Any dispute for any reason puts the seller in a bad position. If any comes through you really have to give it all you got in terms of proof that that client did indeed make a legitimate purchase.

Paypal would always be in your favour as all you need to say it is a non tangible item.

also if you use WHMCS it is very easy to prove they actually used and authorised the order as the buyers IP will be logged, which should match up with the same one used to contact Paypal.

A ex client tried this with us and after contacting paypal over the phone we confirmed they used the same IP to contact PP as they had for the last 6 times they logged into their hosting account
