The year 2005 will be the year of the biggest contest HostingDiscussion.com has ever run. We will award this year's most valuable members with outstanding prizes that will help them become more efficient entrepreneurs and individuals.

On December 31, 2005, up to five most valuable members whose contribution to the community will be recognized by HostingDiscussion.com staff and members will be picked.

A qualified nominee is the person who showcases true industry knowledge, ability to help and assist other members and who actively participates in non-commercial discussions. A nominee should make at least 150 posts in the year 2005 with the last post being made no more than 2 weeks prior to deadline (December 15). Eligible forum sections: Web Hosting Forum, Operating a Web Hosting Business.

The contest starts March 1 and ends by December 31.

This is NOT a posting contest, rather a CONTENT contest.

The five winners ranked 1 to 5 will CHOOSE their own prizes, with #1 ranked having the choice priority over #2, etc. up to number #5, who will receive the final gift(s).

Along with the end of year 2005, HD's contest for most valuable members of the year is coming to its own conclusion. However, there is still much to do in days to come - selecting and processing all the prizes to well deserved winners!

The 2005 “End-of-Year Most Valuable Member” contest is the biggest contest HostingDiscussion.com has ever run. It was not a conventional contest found on many other forums where members compete based on the number of posts members make. This one was content-driven, and it proved to be a huge success. Apart from sharp increase in both quality and quantity of discussions during the previous year, we have seen competing communities starting to run contests closely similar in format and objectivity.

The following winners, as decided by forum staff, are members who showcased true web hosting industry knowledge, who were able to help and assist other members, and who actively participated in non-commercial discussions.

As per our decision, we selected three big winners. In addition, we have also chosen two runner-up members to arrive at a total of five winners. Runner-ups may not have qualified based on number of posts, but they were certainly noted as one of the most valuable assets of HostingDiscussion.com community. They will also be honored with prizes.
