Best method for receiving money to Ireland/UK via 2CO?

I haven't been using 2CO very much but now I will be making a lot of use of it.
I am in Ireland and I want to know what people would think to be the best option to collect the funds from my account?

I was thinking wire transfer, but the cost is £10 from my own bank plus $5 from 2CO.

Cheque is $4 from 2CO and free from my bank.

I would rather something fast like wire transfer, but I would obviously rather the cheque for the cost.

How long does each normally take for customers of 2CO?
Anyone near Ireland that gets cheque?

I wouldn't mind the fees if I was transferring the money in large amounts, but I am VERY cautious about keeping money online, I empty out my paypal account every few days, but I have a lot more going through that right now than 2CO.

We use 2CO here and its great, they use direct deposit, but that might now be an option over there?

Otherwise Ikobo might be an alternative. To collect money you can get a debit card, then its topped up when you want to collect. That might work in your situation ?
