Major Customer Wins, Global Expansion, Groundbreaking of New IBX Vault Among Key Growth Drivers
Dulles, Va. – April 17, 2012 – Carpathia Hosting, a provider of complex, compliant managed hosting services for government agencies and enterprises, announced Q1 2012 as its most successful growth quarter to date due to numerous major customer wins, a global data center and office expansion and the groundbreaking of the new IBX Vault in Dulles, Va.

As InMobi’s strategic worldwide hosting partner, Carpathia hosts and manages the production infrastructure that allows InMobi to deliver its mobile ad platform to the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.
To support this global client growth, the managed hosting provider expanded its data center footprint in Q1 to London and Sydney, with the proposed addition of Hong Kong in the near future. With a global data center footprint that also includes the US, Canada and the Netherlands, Carpathia’s strategic alliance with global data center provider Equinix has given it access to a worldwide footprint, thus enabling rapid deployment times worldwide.

Also in Q1, Carpathia extended its partnership with Equinix to build the IBX Vault, a highly-secure 64,000 square foot Tier III data center in Dulles, Va. Aimed at supporting industry-specific compliant solutions for healthcare companies, federal agencies and commercial industries, the new facility is currently under construction on Carpathia’s Vault Campus, which comprises the existing Vault data center and the new IBX Vault.
In order to better meet the growing demands of its customers coast to coast, Carpathia also recently opened new offices in the Bay Area and New York City and began expanding its corporate headquarters in Dulles, Va. by an additional 10,000 square feet. The expanded Carpathia headquarters will total 25,415 square feet and will feature an additional 70 workspaces and a 60-seat training and briefing room.
