Flying Lessons

I'm thinking about taking helicopter flying lessons, has anyone experienced this?

I have my private pilot's license but only for fixed wing.
I hear the helicopter license, while the same in many ways, is also more difficult and expensive to get.

I would love to one day get a private pilot license for a Cessna or a similar type of aircraft. I was researching at one point - it costs around $6k in Canada.

There is a hefty price take and I'm looking at £6k but it may help me in the future.
