Hartserver PanicButton now available to other hosts!

You might have heard of our PanicButton facility PanicButton which we provide free-of-charge to our clients as a last resort support option.

Simply put, if a customer has tried contacting us through the usual support methods (email, forums, instant messenger) and has not received a prompt response, they can simply log into our Client Centre, choose which service is causing them problems, then at the click of a button our staff and engineers are alerted to the problem directly in the form of a text message to each employees mobile phone.

The possibilities for the PanicButton facility are extensive. First of all, you can place your employees 'on-call', letting them escape the office. If there were to be any problems with hosting accounts, they would still be notified, whereever they might be, allowing them to find the nearest computer and look into the problem remotely, or even contact a datacentre engineer in extreme circumstances.

The service is free to set up, and then relies on prepaid credits, starting from only £1 per month for 10 credits. Any unused credits are automatically rolled over to subsequent months, and you can leave the service at any time should you wish.

We are still finishing the development of this service for hosts, and once this is complete the service will feature a control panel, for monitoring of credits used, re-ordering of more credits, and the ability to brand the PanicButton form to your company's branding that will be used by your own clients.
