Hi,
I am in web hosting field from last 10 years ,the recent update on 5th nov of mariadb on whm servers crashed all servers mariadb , millions of
users of
whm users using whm with auto updates faced downtime of many hours on internet due to updates and it affects the business of thousands of companies , although temporary solution was given on whm support team by downgrading the mariadb manually by ssh from below command and stop auto updates.
yum downgrade MariaDB-server MariaDB-common MariaDB-shared MariaDB-client MariaDB-compat MariaDB-devel
Is there any further updates on this issue ?
why it has been happened or any better solution to avoid this in future ?
