I'm just fortunate that the upgrading process is easy enough and doesn't cause a major headache each time a new patch is released.

Yeah, we used to have our WHMCS installed via Softaculous so upgrades were automated. When we moved it to a new server I was worried the upgrade process might become irritating, but nope, it's incredibly easy, so kudos to WHMCS for that!
