NO SPAM POLICY at domain register level

A client of mine had his domain disabled by his domain register a few months back for spam abuse. He got the issue resolved rather quickly but it made me think of the good and bad of a register doing this. Though this could create major issues if a company's DNS domain was disabled I feel it is a good way to staop major abuse. Wondering everyone else's thoughts?

Personally, I don't think Registrars should involve themslves in spam related matters since that mostly involves the company hosting that domain.

Hello,

There are spam policies avaiable by the domain registrar. But that is the extreme level of spaming. The domain registrar blocks the site and remove the dns settings so that the domain stops working and the spaming done by the domain is stopped.

Thank you.
