It works much like an auction. Proofreading and writing projects are posted and work-at-home freelancers bid on the projects. The bidding process is the opposite of a traditional auction; for each project you would like to complete, you will place an acceptable bid for the work involved. Webmasters don’t necessarily pick the highest or lowest bid; they also take into account your rating, profile and test score.

To find projects, simply browse our Onlineproofreading site listings or we can send you an e-mail notification when new projects matching your expertise are posted. You can then decide to place a bid on a project as well as provide details about the work you can do. You may update or retract your bid at any time. If the project creator chooses your bid, you will be notified via e-mail and can immediately begin working.
